My name is Chandler Wilson and I am a team member of Mitch Kitchens State Farm in Daphne. I am a local resident of the Spanish Fort Baldwin county area and have been a part of this great community since birth. Growing up in Spanish Fort has always been a treasure. Especially when I was fortunate enough to be a part of Spanish Fort High School’s first 5A football state championship my freshman year. Over the course of playing football at Spanish Fort High School we as a team won 3 football state championships in total. It was truly an unforgettable experience, but all things come to an end and it was time for me to continue my education.
I graduated from Spanish Fort High School in May 2014 and went on to attend school at the University of Alabama. Going to The University of Alabama was a dream come true for me. I had always envisioned myself attending school there since I was young, and was happy to see my dream come true. I attended school at Alabama for 4 years and graduated in August 2018 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Computer Tech Applications. Being away from Spanish Fort and experiencing life away from the town I grew up in was an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. However I still found myself back here because I love the Baldwin county area and couldn’t see myself living anywhere else.
After graduation I went on the search for my career path and came across something truly special. What I came across was the field of insurance. With insurance I realized I could service the people in my community and be there in their times of need. I first started servicing businesses at Colonial Life in Mobile as a life and health agent. My job at Colonial Life was to help business owners provide custom benefits packages for their employees. My services helped many hard working individuals, who suffered great hardship by reducing the impact of those hardships, and helping them to get back on their feet as soon as possible. I enjoyed my time at Colonial Life as well as the positive impact my work had on people’s lives. However when Mitch Kitchens approached me with the opportunity to work for his agency I felt that I couldn’t pass it up. Because I knew that it could expand my ability to help the people of this great community. Now would I not only be able to look after the life and health of those that I service, but also the household that they reside in. I am excited about expanding my ability to service the people in my community, and glad that it is here at Mitch Kitchens State Farm.
