My name is Julie Brunson and I have been a life long resident of Spanish Fort. My husband and I have been married for 26 years. We have 2 daughters. One lives and works in Hattiesburg, MS and the other is a sophomore at Mississippi State University. I taught school in Spanish Fort for 26 years until my retirement in May. I then joined Mitch Kitchens team in July 2018. I’m Chandler Wilson, a team member at Mitch Kitchens State Farm in Daphne. As a lifelong resident of the Spanish Fort, Baldwin County area, this community has always been home. Growing up in Spanish Fort was truly a treasure. I proudly played for Spanish Fort High School, being part of its first 5A football state championship team my freshman year, and helping us win three state championships in total. These were unforgettable experiences that laid a strong foundation before I continued my education.
After graduating from Spanish Fort High School in May 2014, I pursued a lifelong dream by attending the University of Alabama. I graduated in August 2018 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Computer Tech Applications. While experiencing life away from Spanish Fort was valuable, I returned because I truly love the Baldwin County area and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. After graduation, I discovered the field of insurance, realizing it was a powerful way to serve my community and support people in their times of need.
My career began at Colonial Life in Mobile, where I specialized as a life and health agent. I helped business owners provide custom benefits packages, supporting hard-working individuals through hardships and helping them get back on their feet. I valued the positive impact my work had on people’s lives. When Mitch Kitchens offered me an opportunity at his agency, I knew it would expand my ability to help our community even further. I'm excited to now look after not only the life and health of those I serve but also the households they reside in, right here at Mitch Kitchens State Farm.
